bug with afk trigger?

i dont like the auto afk recognition of BA
its a real PITA if u have a nice queue and some idiot klicks the fancy flashing button when u are afk to get some drink or whatever

please help

It's not a setting, its built in. It will recognize your initial queue (providing you use the initial queue widget that comes inside of BA) and won't make you afk while that queue finished. If you are away for long enough to trigger it then to be honest I think your team would want to take you!

my initial queue widget was running while i got taken
and i dont see any initial queue lua file in my spring folder

In that game you didn't really use initial queue - you set up most of the queue by yourself after the game had started.

(Initial queue is a widget - it allows you to set up a queue for your com while you are waiting for the game to start. You won't be marked as idle while the queue from that is completed.)

But I agree that in that situation it would have been better if you weren't set as 'afk' - ticketed: http://imolarpg.dyndns.org/trac/balatest/ticket/527. Thanks for reporting :)

review the demo again
i started with using the initial queue (yeah i really know what it is)
and cause game start i just added more commands on the list while holding shift
so ok maybe its not in the initial queue or in two lists or whatever
but the resultat is a MAD PASTE :(
and btw i like to be afk if i want to be in mid and late games too so if i have a automated base it should not be that im afk in 1min~ and a noob clicks a fancy button and the shit starts to burn

i would like to have a switch somewhere to switch that off
cause I DONT WANT IT
and i dont play spring in real afk situations where im disturbed by doorbell or something like that - then i resign or give to others... there are plenty options to handle such situation

when this thing dont end to be annoying, i will troll the system
really if i see that fancy button i instantly click and share the units to all teammates in same amounts ;)
then i will see how they handle it

Well, good idea... Anyway, just of interest, which "fancy button" do you mean? Afaik, sadly the take reminder button was removed (for reasons I dont know). So we are back at yelling "type /take!!!". I have heard the player list is supposed to have take reminder now but for another unknown reason it never showed up for me. So which take reminder do you have?

Advanced player list shows blinking yellow take buttons pointing at the players' name. Maybe he means those.

I've had the AFK gadget flat out interrupt me when I was active and queuing and refuse to give my stuff back even after a reconnect.

Remove this unnecessary crap, we have brains and are able to kick players if necessary. If you want to implement this feature, make sure it works as reliably as it does in ZK.
