Gravity was so good it made my balls hurt.

Seriously, don't even think about it. Go see it today. It's fucking awesome.

Extremely intense. I don't think I have ever seen a movie that had more intensity.

Oh, and I would never ever recommend this, because I really dislike watching movies in 3d... but this is an exception. It was made specifically for 3d, and it shows. No eye strain at all, and it 100% captures the real...ness.

Holy shit it's so good.

Seriously though, see it in 3d.

The previews don't even remotely do it justice.

It took me 38 seconds to realize you were talking about a movie, and not a niche sexual practice.

I really want to see this.

Nothing to do with being in love with Sandra Bullock since Speed. Nosireebob.

That's probably why they put her opposite George Clooney.

Considering how old she is, she still looks freaking fantastic. She does an excellent job in her part, and Clooney is awesome as always.

Surprising though is that his part isn't really that big. I mean, he is crucial to the story, but his part of the story isn't so big as you might think.

God it was so good.

I haven't been this jazzed over a movie in years.

You overhyped this for me.
I watched it today with friends, and it did have good parts: 3D capture of most of the important man-made space objects, and very good parts: the subsequent destruction of those objects.
However even at around 1h30min, the film was way too long and slow paced. I bet we had 30mins of camera time just watching Sandra spin around in place.
Still not a bad movie, and I would recommend it to anyone who can enjoy a slow-paced movie.

This was probably where you went wrong. If you have people talking and stuff during it, it breaks the immersion in a moving that is incredibly intense. If you aren't paying attention or are having conversations with other people while stuff is going on it would be a bore-fest.

As it was, I went alone at a very late showing, so I was able to be fully immersed into the story, and for the first time watching a 3d movie, the 3d was a compliment as opposed to a distraction.

But it is extremely intense. If you don't get the intensity I don't see how it would be particularly enjoyable :-|

Welp, there's always Ender's Game. Got I am going to nerdgasm all over that movie so hard...

watched it- forb is right, this movie is hugely depending on the audience. Hava popcorn and smarthphone-bitch beside you and the silence in the soundtrack representing space is ruined.

Still great movie. Especially the loss of orientation is well captured.

Would watch again. Actors are good .

I would argue that this move is best seen alone on an afternoon when the theatre is mostly empty.

You get total immersion.

Fun fact, the main panels in the Russian/Chinese crafts are replicated exactly as they are, and the startup sequence she uses is exactly the correct startup sequence used in the real craft.

I saw it in 3D and if you have to see one film in 3D then its this one.
Forget weak parts the story etc you will be "in" this damn movie
