Missing Map Texture Syndrome for Certain Players

Some players experienced this graphical anomaly while playing on my map last night. I am using smf/smt built by Behe's mapconv with mapinfo.lua. Map seems to work fine with me and many other players, but certain people get the pink texture syndrome.

I don't have their infologs at the moment, so I'm wondering if anyone knows off the bat what the problem is?

Pink is usually a result of the smf not linking to the correct smt. Open up the smf in notepad (++) and look for the reference to smt. Check if correct, only modify it if it has the exact same character count. I usually do this when I bump versions but the texture is unchanged.
May also be related to mapinfo maps not liking spring.exe vs lobby launches.

EDIT: Please link to map!

Thanks, I'll look into those issues. I am aware of the smf link to smt, but it's odd that it works ok for me and not for other people.

EDIT: LOL WTF it's using my local directory reference... Silly mapconv!

Ugh, this means it wasn't working for *anyone* else then, I was under the wrong impression the whole time.

After fixing the texture issue, I realized that the gray unit / ui draw issue is a separate one. Does anyone have ideas as to why that is happening?

You can rename smf and smd (why are you still using this antiquated mapping method?) to whatever you like as long as they match. Never rename the smt.

Follow that and you'll be golden.
