Re: Spring Tanks fixed for 94.1 - RC6.1
Starting the game as described in the wiki, didn't work without issue for me. The game seems to hang after starting the game from the SpringTanks menu.
Choosing 'test the game' in the menu before the SpringTanks one, seemed not to make Spring's own menu go away, or maybe it also tried to start a game consecutively, which I believe Spring doesn't allow (but still seems to happen.)
It only started after I closed one of two Springs down in windows taskmanager. After that it worked awesomely.

Re: Spring Tanks fixed for 94.1 - RC6.1
I'd say SpringTanks would be better off going around Spring's own menu with a Launcher.exe like KernaPanic. (but I'm not gonna, because I don't know what that would involve )
Re: Spring Tanks fixed for 94.1 - RC6.1
Actually I was making a similiar launcher but stopped it when I realized that imo ingame menu is better.
Accessing it via spring.exe is silly of course, though at the moment the only way. Some games already have these nice ingame menus but getting to those is too confusing.
That is what this thread is about, making access to singleplayer menu as easy as joining a multiplayer battle.
The restart-bug is sad but I have faith it will be fixed eventually. (it worked in 91.0 so there is hope)
