You have to remember how ridiculously short the nano range is for cons in TA. It's REALLY short, as in cons outside the factory walls must walk around to the front and back openings trying to get to where they can guard it which causes them to block units.

Very frustrating actually.

Still a must-do for good unit production, coupled with more reclaim (with patrol command for ease of use). If you'd do these, you'd complete these missions much faster and maybe wouldn't feel the need to up the gamespeed.

@everyone, keep in mind I haven't played TA in nearly a decade, so I very much am approaching the whole thing as a newbie.

Can you not set your shipyards waypoints? You do know guardians won't auto-fire at radar unless you build a targeting facility, ctrl+z'ing your guardians and clicking on minimap dots would have been a godsend at some points

Also there are moments when a battle is happening at the edge of the screen, try to centre the screen on the battle as there are bits we're missing just off screen

The minimap is so small that it's useless. Try actually viewing the video on a 1080p screen and you'll see what I mean.

Factories in ta cannot be given waypoints (though if you pay attention you see me repeatedly try to set waypoints for them).

Pretty sure I don't have access to the targeting facility yet.

I noticed, and the minimap is painfully small coming in the direction from springs resizable minimaps, but I do remember the mouse precision clicking of my early years when I first started, and it is worth doing in those situations, and those situations show up a lot in the missions ( I cant comment on multiplayer as I dont remember doing it once in multiplayer, I do remember a lot of 56k disconnects ruining games ( I remember at some point that was fixed ) )

I just ran TA again and rechecked and PrntScrn'ed :

Maybe you forgot to click the move button before clicking the terrain? It can happen when you're too used to Spring interface.

Oh by the way, is your TA 3.1c patched? *looks at video first image. Wait what 3.9? You're more up to date than me! :P

Btw, someone remind me, how do you turn on healthbars again?

Edit: Yeah I just installed TA + all goodness expansions (thanks to gog) which brought it up to 3.1c and then ran the 3.9 latest community beta patch.

I wish I could make the minimap useful at this resolution :-(

Yeah, I still use the "move" command all these years later out of habit when I'm setting waypoints on facs.
