put a lolbridge on your lolmap

Units can move over and under.
-requires übermicro
-sucks in many ways

Is anyone interessted in having this in their wip-map or making a demo/testmap? (can be ugly-ish)
If someone knows an existing map where this could be added, that might work too. I could not find a good one though:

map should be like:
-bridge parallel to map edges
-some flat area in front of bridge
-terrain same height on both sides
-enough space under bridge so units can fit under (otherwise it is pointless)
-over water or ground, doesnt matter. maybe have both?
-size of bridge doesnt matter but the longer a unit wiggles around on it, the more noticable the shortcomings get

Any example would be good.

Do you also want some terraform support? As in it would be fairly easy to let maps define areas which cannot be terraformed.

Bump, did an example work for this ever get released? If not, where can one get this bridge if they were interested in trying it out?

What does it require for implementation, is it just like a feature or what?

Nope - i got to try making one, but then the coder part of me beat the mapper part and i got forever stuck trying to improve it.

Most hilarious thing i found out about it when trying to debug why my scorchers and darts were sinking through the bridge and then driving underground: being put into air will drive suspension scripts on units that have them to rabid insanity.

It's a movectrl gadget. Feature is for pure visuals, you can make invisible bridge as easy as not.
