Spring RTS Engine

Hi All,

I installed Spring and Balanced Annihilation as I was a big fan of TA. I love it to bits but I have a problem running it on my laptop. The laptop has a dedicated ATI graphics card so its not short on power.

When I run the game, every 5-10 seconds it freezes and spikes the Ping to 1000+ and sometimes the CPU spikes as well.

It doesn't do this on NOTA but it does on BA Chicken. I've tried BA 7.68, 7.71, 7.72 and get the same issue. I've reduced all settings to minimum, tried windowed mode to no avail.

I have another really old laptop and it runs fine on this...annoying!

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this and has a fix.

All drivers are up to date in case anyone was wondering.
