I sometimes feel there is absolutely zero need of consoles.
these companies force a market because they release their consoles and than release games only for those consoles....
Take a PC, connect it to a TV, get gamepads and get the full console experience..

PCs in Japan are for work and porn, there's not much of an audience for PC games there so their developers focus on consoles and phones instead.

They make porn games for the pc....

pretty good ones but lately they are stale Sexy beach zero was a disappointment.

Yeah and there's no porn in Dragon's Dogma.

I'm currently hooked on a Japanese never-been-exported PC game series (Galaxy Angel). Of course, the last game was in 2004 (subsequent sequels were PS2-exclusive), so... yeah.
