91 new map loading crash

Hello,
I am encountering a new bug since spring 91, most of the times I load a 'new' map, i.e. map that hasn't been pathed previously on this installation I get strange crashes/freezes.
Sometimes it happens during path writes but more often it happens afterwards, which is even stranger, like on 'generating trees' or on some others. what I then do is
1) press ctrl+shift+esc - nothing happens
2) press power button to put computer to sleep
3) wake up from sleep
4) Task manager window now appears on top of gray spring fullscreen so I can kill spring.exe
5) I can now press start again and proceed to load the game as ususal.

unless I've been kicked in the meantime.

Please post your infolog.txt, and are you using multithreaded spring? Are you playing a mod with QTPFS enabled?

I am playing BA, single threaded I believe (although pathing shows 2 threads so I am not sure)

on second attempt it didn't mind the trees and launched normally

attach log files as file attachments to your post, or use pastebin(.com) or the like.

try to run it with --safemode

maybe setting "LoadingMT = 0" is enough.
