Spring RTS Engine

I know the movie made it on here so heres the game:

Can't say much about it yet but looks pretty in the screen shots and sounds fun from the little I read about. (plus I enjoyed the movie)

Edit: read a little more and it turns out to be the guys who made the earth series of rts' (e.g. Earth 2150)

As I see it:
Earth2150 was awesome, inovative and ball busting amounts of fun.
Earth2160 was an uninspired rehash.

I'm quietly hopeful.

They were advertising the board game at Essen 2011.

Earth 2160 looked nice though..

If someone never played either, which would you recommend? i.e. even if uninspired, is it worth playing with the upgraded graphics of 2160?
I know I've played 2150 but it was years ago and not very much, so I can't remember a thing except that it was fun.

Personally, go with '50. Try '60 later.

They play pretty differently. '60 is simplified compared to '50. '40 is just a straight C&C clone IIRC.
