Which spring version do we use?
I am still on 88 and it is imo good enough.
We should decide on something otherwise even less games are possible.

The latest xta release, 9.725, only supports spring 89. It's because of something that dnw did to unit_post.
Besides, 89 has some improvements over 88, e.g. water sound effects, and only a few more bugs :)

I don't know why ZK is using Spring 88.0, but as of XTA 9.725, it's fully Spring 89.0 compatible, and stuff only compatible with 89.0 is (as stated in the changelog)
- Updated Dynamic Collision Volume gadget for better map feature and unit CV and radius scaling (some maps have incorrect feature collision volumes, so you can make a map specific config file that'll override map feature collision volumes with custom ones)
- Renamed all soundHit tags in weaponDefs to soundHitDry, to be up to date with 89.0 (traditional search & replace with NP++)
- Added weapon water hit sounds (aka soundHitWet, done via unitdefs_post)
- Renamed cylinderTargetting to cylinderTargeting for engine compatibility
- Added Sounds.lua for small randomization of general sound effects (this one is not yet completed)

NOOO! Another change just to accomodate our american friends. I cried when they renamed
Millennium to the sloppy spelling, and this is almost as bad.
Really, the engine should change, not we.
