Well, hope someone can help me cause i don't know what to do...
Here is my problem : after playing a spring game (about 40 minutes) it sometimes (often?) finish for me in a damn blue screen (no sound, no mouse, nothing written...just infinite blue... :? ) and from then on my only choice is...reboot :(
I really don't understand whats happening...
It happens since i've upraded to 0.66b1 (never happened before)...
Just in case : i run windows XP pro with a ATI 9550.
By the way, i've upraged tonight my comp with catalyst 5.11 and reinstalled 0.66b1 (not from update but with regular installer) but it still happened 4 minutes ago....weird...
Thank you for your answers. :-)

PS: i apologize for all my ennemies and allies i left during battle....

I sometimes have this problem as well. It seems to have no reason for happening other than just being a very long game.

ALWYS NOTE DOWN THE STOP CODE ON A BLUESCREEN

I cant stress enough, it has the necessary information to prevent the bluescreen ever happenign again, or even tell you your computers on its way out and could go bang in the next few months.

Note down the stop code and google for it, you'll fidn many places where people have had them too dn been given explanations of what they mean and how to fix them.

How do you get the code when your whole screen is blue? I had this happen too. There is no text or anything, just a pure blue screen. No windows code, no caching of files or anything.

hey yeah... I remember seeing this ones or twice... it's kind-of a darker blued then the BSOD error... hasn't happened to be in months but I'm running an ATI card too (9200) so it's my guess that it's coming from an incompatibility with something that is supposed to be standard but is done differently on ATI and nVidia cards...

Alantai, you need to work on your reading comprehension. :P There's nothing written at all, it's just blue.

But to be fair, it was a really good tip - I hadn't heard it before, so thanks Altlantai =)

PS I have had "ordinary" bluescreens in the past, but only when playing TCs like Final Frontier or World Domination

Well Blue screen is synonymous with bluescreen of death in this forum.

I can only advise that you update your graphics cards drivers or downgrade them.

I got this the other day after about 2 hours into a 4 way metal map FFA I was specing... Sudden blue screen, sound loop of the last sound sample, and no error code or anything. All keystrokes stop functioning and the only fix is a reboot.

I'm also running an ATI card. X600, latest catalysts.

I got the 9600XT 256 mb one. (err i think its 9600, either that or 9800). I blue screened many times. Not really recent tho. Maybe like 2-3 weeks ago I just had a plain blue screen. Can't remember what I did tho.

This bug can now be reliably reproduced. Download and play TLL mod. Forcing the left arm gun of the heavy assault kbot that comes out of the TLL advanced units lab by going into first person mode and pressing the fire key will consistantly cause the computer to crash exactly the way that was described.

Hopefully this TLL repro can help us track down the reason why this happens in XTA.

this is another mystery bug like that one my friend had... and nothing he has done has fixed it...

Its ghosts in the code
