I think that we should agree on a gravity amount to be the considered the standard so i go place it in

Flooded desert - 150
Mars - 140
Small Divide - 130
I'm calling it a standard of 140!
When making maps, this is the standard gravity:
140
If you decide to use a value much higher value, units that fire balistic projectiles (canons) may become unable to fire they're projectiles at the intended range. Be sure to test that as well.

I agree. 140 sounds like an avarge. But it makes more sence to me to have the gravity be 100 (earth norm) and every 10 les would be .1 less. So if 100= 1 earth gravity's, then 90 would be .9 of earth gravity and 110 would be 1.1 of earth gravity.
While 140 just soudns like a random number, and systems based on randomnumbers SUCK! I mean look at our backwards american system! The metric system is so much better, as it has a logical system its based off of, useing 10's. No wird numbers like 12 inches (a foot) or about 1201 feet (a mile)

5280 feet
Yes, that was from memory. This stuff's easy to know when you grow up with it

Whatever. Its the length of three furlongs, a mile is.
Yeah...thats relevent to modern life

ah, but do you know what a furlong is? off the top of my mind I believe a furlong sqaured is the amount of farmland a pair of oxen should plow in a day. Very relevant to modern life!

Damn right. It appauled me to find the other day that my lazy oxen had only plowed 7/8th of a furlong. I promptly whiddled a toy horse and spent 12 hours digging a trench.

I though slightly about the number beeing a nice multiple of 10 (like 100) but didn't considered it much because i don't know how the engine uses the gravity number possibly leading to some nice looking number but not as usefull.
Also, i checked alot of maps and about half was around 110~150 and another half was lower. I think it is important to keep a value that suits the present maps and i think it is more important to keep the value consistent with the higher gravity ones because lower gravity infuences less than high gravity.
It's still time to change that (the sooner the better) but i think it is a good value.

Its better to start off with 100 then have 140 then change it to 100

You've lost me. Are you sure one or more of those "then" shouldn't be "than" or something?

I really dont know anymore. I stoped trying to make sence of what i say long long ago. I think what i ment was
Its better to start with something simple then with something complex and dumbing the complex thing down.
Simplifyes everything
