Played a good few hours of this last night. Customizable units, ability to play as offense OR defense, level editor, scriptable etc..
I found it to be lots of fun, if you like Tower defense, this is a good one.

The Moon Project works very fine on win 7 64bit... But sometimes the resolution can be prone to crashing/glitches but that is only if you set it too high.
And how the hell do you want to run TMP on dosbox? O_o

There is supposed to give a few news about Earth 2170... But they are really old.
Reality Pump is busy with their RPG games, I assume they don't think that an Earth 2170 would be profitable...
Well there gives still New Earth Project for Earth 2170 that trys to add Earth 2140-2150 stuff back to 2170 and some few other things.
The Moon Project supposed to have players up to 200! sometimes even 300 back where it was released

I think I'm allergic to tower defense and I didn't like Gratuitous Space Battles either.

I feel the same way, and I agree with Senna.
Try a demo or something to make sure it's your kind of game before buying!
