This might just be BA specific, but anyway.

It is being worked on..I think feedback is welcome but it must be a bit more detailed.

whut i think its awesome

you may have missed release upon release of derp herp fuckup pathing where flash micro ceased to be usable

imo current pathing is streets ahead of that.

IIRC kloot said in a recent thread the flow field stuff was too expensive.

Please elaborate on the nature of the bugs instead of providing a negative blanket statement.

Pathing is much better now, there is still some excessive bouncing at times.

Its not better than 82.7 yet .. at least not for ZK imo.

This isn't a bug report, this is me asking what happened to pathing. The pathing I saw today was the worst pathing I've ever seen in BA, ever.

+1

just go ingame, take a constructor and try to get him to even make a 2-spacing wind farm

he will eventually just stop and spend rest of game bouncing into one of the windmills

it fails way too often, you practically have to micro every step of the units now

You could have a wild guess yourself what could possibly happen to source code. (Hint: The answer does not involve an asteroid hitting the git server or something like that.) :|

No, its not the tooth fairy either.

And why would that help exactly?

so what was the issue with getting spring started again? Was it the config file?

Bits and bobs. Nothing major.

What? Its waaay better than 82, that is the version where turninplace=0 was broken, clumps of units would slow down from jostling, and everyone raged about pathing in a new thread every week or so.

After playing some games I think it is much better than the past few spring versions. Still some situations in which units do some weird stuff but nothing major. I don't see what you are upset about Jaz.

Pathing in evo is excellent. Better than it ever has been (course pathing in evo in 87 was great as well as the previous versions so, meh).

I think 82.3 was the good pathing version. Though I don't know if I remembered my testing correctly. It may have been 82.4 because I remember telling Licho about it.

82.2 was the version which first started the pathing decline, would seem by a quick search. 82.7. apparently was the one to fix the most major issues since that, though I remember preferring <82.2 pathing anyway.

Too long to remember every different version, at some point people got bored of complaining too even if there wasn't that much incline I think.

Dunno about the absolute newest version, haven't properly tried.

such as?

Jazz those bits and bobs are what I was wondering about. In prior threads you expressed great consternation in attempting to run the new spring
