ppa for spring

Hi Guys,

There is a problem with the PPA for spring. The releases are being made available via the PPA before they're picked up by the mods.

Is there some way to delay the PPA release for spring until it's accepted by the mods? I know this could be a headache and not possible, just thought I would ask the question.

Cheers.

The ubuntu ppa was bumped prematurely and has been incompatible with the running lobby version since 83.0 was announced. There is nothing really we can do besides waiting or compiling from source and manually set it up.

People learn from their mistakes, and i think (hope) this will not happen again.

I'm trying to update Spring Lobby via the built in Update Manager in Xubuntu 11.10. It sees all new versions of Lobby and Spring, but says, it cannot install them because the action requires installing packages from unsafe sources. What should I do here?

Try using apt-get instead?

Thanks. Seems like via "apt-get" it works. =)
I hope this mistake will be fixed in the nearest future.
