I had a dream. Big mechs blasting away att ships in the sky!

Basicly, I want Absolute annuhilation and final frontier in one mod. Nothing fancy.
If someone who shares this dream, then make this. That would be great!

I wouldnt think it would require much.. just change of weapon IDs and stuff

I think it would be very repetive work

Yeah, I always wanted FF and TA to merge... lol, I bet the balance would suck, but it would be SO cool.

Maybe in AA a new type of unit can be added... starting at lvl2, starships, following a similar pattern to those of FF. The difference between starships and VToL are:

They never land

They have far worse maneuverability, and are a little slower.

They are minimum 1.5x as big as a Pheonix and maximum 4x as big.

They are like gunships, as in they don't go in for runs, but they don't dodge either. They are just a flying weapons platform. This means they are vulnerable to all kinds of weapons, but have the ability to go anywhere on the map unhindered by terrain like VToL.

Infact, I don't even know if they should be starships...
AWP (Airborne Weapons Platform) has a far nicer ring.

I've never played FF, so I have no idea if this sort of thing would be viable or not. Spring doesn't use IDs.

The guy in the first post is referring to there probably not being enough unit or weapon IDs for AA and FF to be merged... well in the case of OTA this would be a real issue that would kill the project before it got started. But Spring ignores weapon and unit IDs, so it's not an issue.
