I dunno, but peer to peer spring gets less players, is that a warning?

i think problem is some players kick noobs because they dont know play and gets kicked instantly, they get front and they are first to die, they try again and again and gets kicked, they get tired and leave.

Personally i dont care play with noobs, i always defend them, but theres some players like [Fx]Bluestone that love to kick noobs, they try again and they get kicked again, is there a way to fix this?

Play something with a friendlier community than BA?

we should at least have a big red "report and utter complaints" button and even if this all just leads to one big garbage bin, that is rarely read -

Also how do those noobs overcome the rank-limit?

logic dictates, that the percentage of assholes among noobs is roughly the same as the percentage of assholes among pros (that kick noobs).
let us say, we have one new player per day, and percentage of assholes is 30% among mankind.
That means, we should be kicking (and otherwise punishing 30% of new players, cause they are acting in a way they deserve it).
Now the fun part is, that even the asshole pros that kick are more likely to kick asshole noobs.

Same logic goes when replacing assholes with those-incapable-of-reading-chat, kind of.

what i want to say:
not every noob being kicked = something going wrong

This has (probably) never happened.

Senna has made this post because he lost a game and his only way to deal with it was trolling the UK, and then blue made him look a fool. *That's* how mature he is, and how much he cares about spring.

u talk about 1 game, but im talking about 100 games where hes here and start kicking noobs, i have nothing against him but with that we have less players than it should be

yeah but from my experience... the arseholes on the dsd servers vote kick constantly once they don't like someone.

It very much is an elitist atmosphere.

how about making votekick risky- so it autobans the votestarter, once it vote phails?

There are many talks about this problem, but no action.
How about to start doing some think.
I think, first of all we need bind account to some email address and ban 10-min email services. By this action, we get less smurfs that ruin game balance.

So as I see it we have three ideas:

1) ELO ranking.

2) Binding new accounts to a single email address, with maybe one/two minutes deliberate time lag to do some of confirmation code entry on first server join.

3) Some units/features (e.g. dgun and trans ) only become available after getting a small number of minutes ingame.

I'm in favour of any subset of these ideas =p.

I have an idea. GET RID OF VOTEKICK. Only let players VOTE SPEC.

No solution is prefect flozi. I have 3 pcs in my apt that I could have one as a silent smurf watching the match so I can look over and cheat that way.

Temporary in sense you dont need coding effort and it can be applied now
