What do you call it when someone has hundreds and hundreds fo people on twitter or facebook but they're not all friends, they just follow/friend because they fancy the person, and that person wont acknowledge the above but will happily post pictures of themselves in very revealing photos and make innuendos?

'Friendwhore' isn't rightas its the other people adding and they're not simply collecting friends.

Being popular?

I tell you what, being this pretty is a burden.

Awkward is what I call it. I used to have hundreds of friends on msn and crap too, then one day I just went "wat" and deleted all the people I didn't talk to which was like 75% of them. Every time I get a request from somebody I barely know/talk to, I just decline them. Most people seem to just accept 'em.
Inb4 some joke about lack of friends.

Where you posing in mirrors taking photos for them and making innuendos suggesting you may want to have sex with one who should it be?

Or have about 10 comments within 5 minutes from people who were 'adoring fans'?

Or a huge follower or friendcount yet when asked 'oh what did you do to get those or what are you known for' your completely at a loss? ( or so it appears, you know how you got them =p )

This is a discrimination on necrophilia! Just u wait, one day you ll be near a morgue, and suddenly the urge comes and - oh, we talk about ┬┤Karteileichen'...

Forget me posting anything. Everything perfectly normal. Move along - oh, and if by chance, someone you know wants to get an heroe, tell them to use pills- chemicals conserve and prevent decay.

;)

Picasso, I like your new avatar.

I guess a person with a lot of friends on Twitter or Facebook is popular, but I don't see how they keep up with all of that or why they would want that many friends if they don't talk to them.

I don't have a snappy and distinct word for it. That person is cultivating weak acquaintanceships with very limited effort, but because there is no meaningful effort involved there is no way to exploit or adapt that social attention. The connections created aren't without value, but they're certainly limited - I would suppose such a person would be best described as a dependent social vampire.

People arrive because said person appears attractive

Said person does nothing to stop or acknowledge this

People who have arrived hold onto their everyword much as a lovestruck puppy follows a cute guy/girl around at a party and dares not say anything negative.

Said person most likely posts photos and status' with innuendo, or 'hot photos', maybe photo shoot pictures, though not always

Said person will never acknowledge the above, and will likely point blank ignore negative comments, and will blank/cut out if the above is pointed out.

Said person may refuse to communicate with 'adoring fans', or heap praise on said fans. The nearest generic example I have is Gaga calling her fans her little monsters.

Said person has done nothing 'fanworthy' besides looking nice. Exclaims they are at a loss when asked how they managed to acquire so many friends/followers.
