Everybody loves it, it is just better than regular nanospray. Why would it be off by default.
Sorry for not very interesting thread but I hate to think of all the newbs playing their games with the default (green?) coloured nanospray
I really think this setting should be on by default and my opinion is is obviously very important.
Post here if you agree otherwise go away

All nanospray should be removed from the engine and replaced with lua.

yes another good point from picasso
keeping this crappy default nanospray is just because of ota but the aim is to move away from ota now is it not?
no go away wombat and ur wrong, it matters for all those newbs who are suffering with the ugly green nanospray when they could be bathing in a rainbow of beautiful nano particles and they dont even know it

Just less crap cluttering the engine really. Not only would luafication allow games to configure it, say like making the nanos square like in ota. It could also allow for more creative control of the visual style used in the nano spray(imagine lasers or say in the case of cursed BLOOD SPRAY) etc. The idea is that it allows games to use their own version while reducing engine complexity.
Hector I am ignoring your posts. You assert that it looks better, I don't agree. You are trying to force your own sense of visual style on the game makers who can actually set team color nano mod side. Now if that setting is ignored, well that is something else. What about games that don't want that, say KP? You are forcing an engine level change without consideration for the variety of projects which use this. Something I think is typical of you. So forgive me if I don't feel like addressing your view but I am still unsure if I take you seriously or regard you as a troll. Considering your avatar is a guy who killed himself I find you in poor taste and feel disinclined to talk to you.

also nanospray, next to building wireframe, are basicly the only things that keeps the spirit of ota, leave fugly nano spray alone! (models are going to be changed so...)

Umm luafication means you could make it actually like it looked in TA. Spring nano's look nothing like OTA.

Where's that chart which shows something like 60% BA, 25% ZK, 10% XTA, 5% Other (approximately)
I'm sure you can do that maths that 95% > 5%. I hate to break it to you Smoth but the majority of Spring users do not care about crappy mods like um... Gundam!
I rest my case. Make team coloured nanospray an option which is on by default.
