Spring RTS Engine

One with halfway decent graphicks? I cant show spring to outsiders gamers on this map - ice did so many beautys, and well, fuck, this decaying pizza is a insult to smoths, forbs, KaiserJ and hunterws maps.. so did anybody remade the thing, so it doesent give you eyecancer?

aww dont be hating. Not perfect but as scrotum would say, a 6/10 at least.
There are maps a lot uglier then DSD that get/got played ie Altored Divide.

The DSD Island remake is kind of cool imo, as it gets rid of the imo ugliest part. (the green areas at north)

Altored Divide is really pretty.

Lets be more precise: I cant show crowded spring games on any other map than this, therefore - still a do want. Its still makes for some players and it is a eyesore.

Okay, Altored Divide it is.

There are other maps with DSD-like gameplay that aren't as ugly as DSD and Altored. NuclearWinter for example.

IMO find at least a map with ssmf (frozen has it, not sure about folsom)

altored is over 9000 years old and as a result has no ssmf, features or lightmapping, the mexes imo are obscure, the ground is unusually bumpy, and the texture appears to be a l3dt default setting....

to throw my own opinions in the mix...

these maps are all fo'sho more attractive than frozen fortress, just might have a hard time with some of them finding a game with a huge number of players

Terragen, which isn't even remotely close, but nice try

L3dt uses very realistic texturing styles, whereas terragen, like bryce, carrara, etc use more surreal/procedural texturing styles. (In case anyone was curious as to the differences. That's why it's such a large distinction between the programs.)

What I actually meant, as that if it were a choice between Altored and DSD, Altored is the obvious choice, and it's still pretty, even though it's old.

I can disguize a map as dsd, so i can have full game for showing off?

Nothing is wrong with that map -its amazing... i use it now for testing, it takes longer to load, but is so worth it...

Behe tabular is far superior in every way.

Maps like this make dsd the insult it is.

Why do you want dsd remake? There's a lot of better looking maps around if thats what you are looking for, while in the matter of fact dsd is pretty decent considering its age. And what comes to altored, to be honest, is just eyerape - just an opinion though.

It's still hunterw's map even though it's renovated by beherith. That's the only problem here: credit shouldn't solely go to beherith. Nevertheless the map is outstanding...
