so is the stuff from that site actually usefull for spring?
ie with turbosquid i was a bit disappointed, the models i'd have liked to use were all not uvmapped, not textured or not seperated into pieces.

it contains few models that im pretty sure are useful for kais, cursed and MK medieval game.

it also contains few decents sounds (sound is the main problem of newer games, which dont have sounds at all or they are... well... they do not suit well)

+ bunch of textures, few interesting conepts etc.

also, something that every modeler NEEDS to download.

you need poser so you can jerk off to your own crappy cgi animations.

these human models/shapes look bad/wrong, especially the female ones, and most extremely there at, above and below the hips. female hips are generally larger then male ones, wider then the legs, and with that change, more other stuff has to change too.
they also are badly balanced front-back wise, relative to their feet. they would fall on their nose whenever sleepy.

the amount of criticism already shows - people will use this, thx wombat.

first of all no human body is the same. human body is not even symethrical. secondly, u can count rts games with realistic human models on one hand. proportions are always fuked (blizzard <3)

more spring games should use free models & textures from interweb.

yeah there are some nice vechs on this site; sadly the creatures/soldiers etc are mostly solid meshes but overall some pretty cool stuff

and the price is right

Contrary to popular believe virtual people made of polygons, do not feel pain. I know there is a whole movement out there, to protect the Mesh-rights, but fuck those trippies.
