Happy Spring

I love Spring time. The only thing is that I noticed that a lot of people seem to be stressed out right now at my university. Finals are coming up.
Happy spring! Flowers are blooming, it rains a lot in April over here, we're on a forum that has the same name as this pretty season, and it's a great time for picnics.

lol^^
Last time I checked it hit 90 today here in LA. Which, for those of you in the midwest, let me underline the fact that 90 in LA feels nothing like 90 in the midwest. 90 in the midwest constitutes trouble breathing due to all the moisture int he air. It also feels like sitting in a sauna, and sweat is worthless because it simply makes you feel more miserable and doesn't dry off.
All in all, spring so far out here is beautimus. It's 80 outside right now and feels wonderful. Back in KC where i used to live they are freezing their dicks off right now.

Lol, I love that picture of the Ewok and chipmunk.
Over here, the highest temp. for today is 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It's surprisingly cool and not too humid over here right now. Great weather for jogging!

We had a second verse to that song on a children's songs album I remember listening to in the car on road trips as a child:
Kookaburra sits on the electric wire, tears in his eyes and his pants on fire. Ouch, Kookaburra. Ouch, Kookaburra. Hot your tail must be.

I haven't seen or heard of that version before. It seems to be a popular song to sing on road trips in Australia. The people in this video sing it the same way we do "Row, row, row, your boat":

We call that "
singing in round" and yes, the Kookaburra song is particularly well suited to the form.

How did your family learn about the song so that you can sing it on road trips? I don't know anyone over here, aside from Smoth, who has heard of it.

It think it was called "Car Tunes"... and it was an impulse buy at a gas station along with "Sharon, Lois and Brahm" and "Transformers" tapes.

Soy beans are great snacks to eat in the summer time while doing work too!

Bleh, I much prefer winter. I prefer cold, dark weather in general, I sweat really easily (not really fat, I just find warm weather intolerable) and burn to a crisp under even incandescent lightbulbs.

I don't like cold weather unless I'm inside drinking hot chocolate or tea or skiing. I especially dislike cold, rainy weather when I have to be out in it. Otherwise, winter has some neat things about it too.
