Wow, those steath tank things are brutal... Can't touch stationary defence, but they are hell to push forward against.

That is a nice replay, great army...but why nobody gone air?

I hope such replay will make people try UH.

couldn't be assed to go air, it would have left me open (and NoiZe obviously didn't have a choice) and is easy to counter (in UH) besides land battles against NoiZe are so much damn fun! always a battle to survive :D

it's a pity but i don't think UH will get much more ppl, because ppl really like their big ass level 2 units which makes all level 1 unit useless.. it seems ppl rather have a few big units instead of hundreds of units..

But i do agree More ppl should play UH, way better game imo..

Meh, i like UH. I don't like OTA. UH don't have 20 worthless units in it and i love LLT.

Oh, and pepole should also play less metal maps and more picushion.

Well, I think the reason people prefer fewer level 2 units over many level 1 units is the management. I mean, you can't exactly mircomanage a few hundred peewees, you know? But you definitely can micromanage say, 20-30 bulldogs, and it's definitely easier to mircomanage 2 or 3 krogoths.

so where is the challenge in that then :D

oh, I'm not saying I like it, nor is it a good thing, but it's probably one of the reasons people do it. Personally I like large armies, even back in the day when the unit limit was stuck at 250, I liked having 150 unit armies. Kind of funny when you run into a battle though, you lose any little control you had. Spring should be able to do much better in this respect, especially with the excellent hotkey editor, and group AIs. I don't like microing. It makes me not able to focus on the overall strategy, and I lose.

That's not true for everyone :P

Gameplay speaking, the diferent scales (diference between small and bigger units) between oTA/UH and XTA gives each some unique and subtle benefits and disadvantages. It's not entirely «a smaller scale is better».
