they are normal people, doing their jobs. i have nothing against them. the problem with blizzard are their rh department and some very stupid women with psychology mds trying to moderate the teams

oh noes, blizzard beeing the peak of innovation for years, remember how they created warcraft, and starcraft - and how games workshop tried to rip them off? And now torchlight is coping Diablo 3 - clearly there is no shame left in the game industry, actually, if you think about it, those guys just want to keep there familys alive and there shareholders happy- there never was any there in the first place.

Do you think your wish to axe all those orcs with a battleaxe with a bloodsmeared half-naked babarian is because you never came out of the closet? And that female wizzard is a incestious motherfantasy? No wait, thats freudian, always great drama, but nothing really helpfool.

So lets get behaviouristic:
Image

We designed the addiction, reward curve of diablo2, we invented it. By prediction of the skinnerboxxy blizzard should belong to the psychologist-department by now.

Or get decent recent:
I have no fucking clue whats going on in your head. I can make some tests, if you havent done them before, to sort out the most drastic of madnesses, but for everything else, get your cat scanned, and here is your prescription. Wish i had studied neurologoy.

Blizzard ripped my heart out when I read about how they were going to milk starcraft with episodes..

They were once my gold standard for what I wanted to be like as a developer.. bought by activision now they are dead to me.

After owning it for a time, I can tell you that sc2 is more or less shit, for the average gamer. For progamers it's great.

SC2's only real saving grace is the custom maps but even most of them suck donkey balls.

No lan is really what kills it. I bought it because I wanted to play with sleksa. I didn't realized I was locked to playing with people in the US. That's fucking fail. Blizzard will never get another cent from me.

i know two guys, twin brothers. one of them studied IT, the other sociology. they must be around 40 now. the IT guy has his own small company, specializing in Apple/graphics industry stuff (selling it, giving support and the like). he has around 10 employees. his brother is working for him too, to enhance the team spirit or something like that. in reality, all he does is pack and unpack stuff, because... i guess nobody in his right mind wants someone to tell them how to interact with their co-workers.
i would rather employ some "southern culture" team leader (like from Latin-America or Italy) for the dev. team, if they have problems communicating. maybe confronting them with the problem and telling them to find solutions for it them-selfs is good enough already.

Lol. I just worked as a Behavior Shaping Specialist. I wasn't the patients doctor, whom they had regular appointments with. I monitored the patients who lived in the mental hospital that I worked at to make sure that they were safe and did therapeutic activities with them, like crafts, exercises, etc. The activities were determined by the team of psychologists that I met with and were selected depending on the kind of treatment the patient was receiving. It was a tough job. I had to work the night shift and stay awake all night watching over them some times, watching over the male and the female dorms, and I had to be certified in CPR and first aid. Luckily, I never had to use the CPR and first aid.

Well in the gameplay videos of D3 they really didn't show any big open environments so i guess they might not have any...

Blizzard has gone to shit now...Sc2 is crap, shouldn't have gotten it...for an RTS it really does not pay off in terms of ho much you wanna play it...
Its super pro super stressfull and you feel you must grind all the time(training and improving) just to be able to win some games..

For casual players its bad bad bad and the way you join custom games is super inconvenient.

Im sure D3 will be a fun grind for a bit and than will get boring...
it will be like D2 with better gfx, cartoonish WoWish graphics and crappy gimmicky unlockable crap...
I laughed so hard when i saw a video of devs saying how you will be able to upgrade your amory where you craft your weapons and it will change they way it looks...
Like that is something super exciting...

Where are the announcments of features that will revolutionize the hack and slash ganre ?

I will never buy this, but I will definately torrent it to grind it a bit and forget about it.

At least their games look very clear and coherent visually and are not super buggy...

The problem is that whenever a game company reaches a certain size and fame the creativity is sucked right out of it and what you're left with is a disgusting husk which keeps grinding on the hours to support their families and flesh eating hobbies.

SC2 is lol because if you play the campaign first and then play multiplayer mode, you find that a lot of the units you were using in the campaign cannot be built in multiplayer because blizzard wants your $$ for expansions. Fuckers.

It was done that way for balance reasons.

You seem to forget that those units were in sc 1 which was perfectly fine with them. Some of them(medic) even came in an expansion. I'll go out on a limb and say that the next sc2 expansion will have new units for each faction in mp.
