So this game apparently got some nominations and maybe some awards recently and as such I figured I'd check it out...
The game is currently freeware (apparently they are working on a "sellable" version with Sega Genesis quality sprites instead of Sega Master System quality sprites) but it is a very complete experience for what it is.
Essentially it's a mouse-controlled turn based rogue-like that plays more like a limited resource puzzle game... Anyways, I decided I was super smart so I skipped the tutorial but I figured out what I was doing pretty quick anyway... then I started the tutorial and realized that I was an idiot and doing everything wrong... at first I thought it sucked because I died right away but then later I noticed that 2 hours had gone by and I was still playing and really enjoying myself...
So yeah... get this game (mac and win compatible... likely wine-able for linux users as it ran fine on my wife's craptastic five-year-old computer without a problem) and waste a few hours. (individual "games" take less then 10 minutes to play)
