Before this, I was considering buying Magicka after Yoggscast and TotalBiscuit's Let's play but this is the push I needed to buy it. Cheers

I almost bought it right away then, but I really don't have anyone consistent to play with, and single player in a game like that is so horrendously disappointing. I don't think my girlfriend would like a game like that enough to be worth it to buy just to play with her.

Chapp has a lot of hours, I'd play if I had more time.

Single player is very good, just extra hard.

Starting Magicka in multi right away would spoil you the story, which would be a shame cause it's quite fun at moment.

Also, in single player you can be a wanker and keep the M60 throughout the game.

I prefer the speed boost sword...

Everybody's raving about the M60, but in reality it sucks. It can barely kills gobelin, and take ages to damage anything bigger.

M60 has good consistent damage, and it's ranged, so it's automatically better than the basic sword.

However, equip your sword with qfqfqfas and per swing it will give you about 1700 - 2000 damage.
