Problem with hosting on a network (not what you think)

Ok, this isn't the "forward ports 8200 and 8452" problem.

Here is the problem:

I have the ports open on my computer, so I can host and play a LAN game of spring no problem. I can even host a game up and join and play on the spring server. However, the problem is when my roommates try to join a game I hosted on the spring server. We can all connect to the battle room and make it in game, but soon as the game starts, I get No Sync errors from them and they lose conn. We are synced in the BR. I tried opening ports 8401, 8453, and 8202, 8454 on each of their computers, but to no success.

Any help? :(

this is where you have to run the lan server I think... don't know how... try reading about it (download from the http://taspring.clan-sy.com/download.php page)

nono, I already have that and my lan games work great. It is when we are outside the lan, when I host a game on the spring server and they join, they get the sync errors and lose connection.

I don't think the lobby software supports multiple connections from a single IP.

So, you have your computer and your roommates computers on a lan. You host a game through the battle room, with people from the 'outside' and your room mates all joining from the online server. Then when you start the game, they loose sync/connection right? I think some one else has had this problem as well. Dont know if they managed to fix it, but if anyone remebers the thread they could point you to it.

If this isnt your problem then just ignore me, as im rambling on

Yes, thats pretty much it. It just really sucks when we have to wait for someone to host or we have to jump in and try to get all 3 of us in 1 game.
