Spring RTS Engine

is there way to speed it up? the GUI, it uses wxWidgets, but it's extremely slow. QtLobby is much more faster (but abandoned). switch between battle room and chat takes almost complete_votekick time. same is battle join time =) I'm on Ubuntu if it's important.

as far it's the most important concern about SL.

It's not slow for me(also on Ubuntu) but certainly quite buggy, with tabs that disappear when they feel like to. So perhaps your issues are related to something else?
