When I tried to connect my PS3 to the PlaystationNetwork this morning I was asked to agree to an updated EULA... while I assume that this was released to help them protect their investment in regards to the recent hacking shenanigans... I didn't agree to it because there is a section saying I will not:
...use any unlicensed hardware... including peripherals... including controllers...
How am I supposed to know if the random third-party controllers I regularly use on my PS3 are licensed or not... they sure don't say "licensed by Sony" on them anywhere... I'm going to wait a few days to see if the wording changes and then call them to ask... technically I imagine this is within their rights but it's pretty darned douchey.
