Spring RTS Engine

Hey!

I want to try creating a new side in Spring 1944 so i spawn whatever units I want.

I edited sidedata.lua and hq_spawn.lua
but none of my units spawn.

Does anyone know what else i have edit?

Are you trying to create a new side in order to represent a new nation (Ie Italy or Finland or someone), or just to be able to play with whatever units you want?

If you just want to play with units, the easiest thing to do is start a game with "GM Toolbox enabled" and use the 'Random/GM Toolbox" faction, which spawns with a special unit which can build any unit in the game very quickly. Alternatively, you can type /cheat and /give gmtoolbox to get that unit.
