Ladies (tarellina/BoB) and gentlemen, allow me to introduce
SPRINGTOUR 2011
Itinerary June 2011: Norway-Sweden-Denmark-Germany-France-Spain-France-Italy.
I have ordered decals for the conwoy, they read "

Progress and location updates will be posted in this thread!
Anyone interested in meetup with food, beer and LAN/WAN gaming let me know in this thread!

Why so negative, this is brand new initiative to spread the fun of spring, remember i will be using advertising decals on convoy! THis will help draw new gamers to spring!

Sounds like good fun :). I live in the South of Germany (~ between Heidelberg/Stuttgart), and if there's nothing else that gets in the way (which knowing june, is actually pretty likely to happen...) I'd be game!
Edit: I also know a number of other people from round here that'd be sure to join - I dunno if we can do the planning now already though, difficulty is that a lot of people like to have their weddings in June... But if you know roughly whenabouts you'd be in the vicinity, we can work on it.

OMG- i nearly live nextdoor to sean heron. And smoth visited Regensburg, the artillery shelling comes closer. Spring in RL... this is to much.

I have nothing against this initiative, but it will probably be difficult to organize and to get enough participants. And I'm thinking it's a bad idea to waste time on any kind of gaming on such a rare occasion. Time is better spent with beer and bbq only.

Clearly Cardboard+tinfoil= LARP TA would be the *best* use of such time!

It's not a bad idea to play a match or 3 too, at least if you've got the technical side mostly set up in preparation. Playing's fun, and then you've got more things to talk about too. Bobbel rage IRL should be fun to see
