Well, as a measure, we are getting 2 - 3x that amount so try somewhere around 60 - 90cm.

As many of you know, i am moving to california. This storm is the only reason I am not on the road right now. I don't even have proper internet, well, I do, just not the normal way. I have an evo4g that I get about 7 mbit downstream on, so atm it's tethered to my laptop. I damn near rooted it yesterday so that I could use the router function of it, but decided not to. Still debating...

Heh, yesterday was freezing rain for us, today is 2 feet of snow. More pictures soon. I'm about to go shovel the driveway again.

Same here.

Here in Indiana we're getting our second ice storm in two days. Everyone is freaking out, but I find it amusing. I played in this stuff when I was little. Rhododendron leaves are cool when frozen.

Oh yeah. I know what you mean. My work was canceled, but if it wasn't I was going to put my ice tires on my bike and pedal to work. I guess to be specific, I think it's funny that everyone's like "omg it is awful outside" and I reply "Yeah, it's slick. Be careful and you'll be fine."

Those are some pretty snow pictures, but I'm sure it would be a hassle to have to get to work with all of that snow everywhere. Now is definitely the time to do your best to stay warm if you live over there.

We've been having some heavy thunderstorms over here. The temperature outside during the day was 27 degrees C (70 degrees F), but the rain was cold and the wind was very strong. The lights kept blinking while I was in class and I had to walk around campus in that weather. There were even reports of hail. I was very happy when I finally got home.

We got a little bit of freezing rain last night and got the day off of school. Getting more freezing rain and sleet and snow tonight. I'm still disappointed that the real storm missed us.

That's not 3 feet deep. The piles people shovel out of their walks don't count as fall depth.

That's about what we normally get in Vancouver once or twice a year.
