How to get spring to work again

Hey every time I click on a game it says ''you need to download the game before you can join this game'' then it begins download and then the download disappears after a little while.
tried zero-k lobby but its a pile of junk, please advise.

If it does not help to download manually (I had this symptom once) delete the entire Spring folder and reinstall everything from scratch.

nice advice... me go do that... deleting 20gigs of maps... 20 gigs of mods.... ETA 50mins...

You are allowed to move your maps/mods-dirs away and put back in place after reisntalling spring. ETA 50sec. Maybe delete map-pathes though.
