Hi. whenever I try to save a game, I get this error

saving game to Saves/20101231_150031_NOTA1632.sd7_Small Supreme Battlefield V2.ssf
Could not delete file /home/justin/.spring/Saves/20101231_150031_NOTA1632.sd7_Small Supreme Battlefield V2.ssf: No such file or directory

I tried other mods, but I get the same error.
can anyone help?

saving probably isn't implemented for any of the mod's you've tried... I think only Gundam and Kernel Panic have nominally working save/load functionality...

the long version is that the save game system was broken/never properly implemented so some clever people figured out a way to fake it with Lua so then the devs figured they would provide engine hooks to allow for this "faked" functionality to be "real" functionality... that was a few versions back so it might not be the case anymore...

edit: that said, I don't know what that error means... but it's possible it's a permissions issue... What directory is Spring installed in? Why are you trying to save in the first place?

All I can say is that saving games isn't really an important feature. Usually AI games don't last to the point that you have to save it for later, and same with multiplayer games. I never use the saving games feature.

Yes, but as I mentioned, I believe GundamRTS and Kernel Panic have implemented a "good-enough" save/load system.
