Hi all, please is there any way to play spring on LAN offline? Me and some friends are going to have New Year LAN party in small house in the dark forest so far, far away from cities and civilization (we are glad then we have electricity :) ), we have some games to play, but without Spring it could be enough :/
So, please is there any way for it?

Your Spring should come with a Java file named "TASServer.jar" which I heard can be used to run your own local Spring server.
But you'd better search more and try it before going to the forest, because it might not be that easy.

this starts the lobby server.
with your lobbies, connect to the IP of the PC that runs the lobby server.
the link knorke posted is correct, but... very much dated.

It's also possible to unpack the .jar file with "7-zip" for example and afterwards, start the batch file (LanServer.bat)
so you do not need to start the cmd.exe every time

u can create a shortcut to the batch file on your desktop or anywhere else ;D
have fun :p
