Not to ride over your statement, but it is merely "Spring".
There may have been a thread on this before. I think somebody wanted to port Metal Arms, or at least create an homage.

Can't find a thread, I must assume it was brought up in lobby or on a satellite forum. There may be some model recreations floating around - if you wish to explore this yourself, there are resources to get you started with modeling and game development throughout the forum and wiki, by the by!

googled and found: Metal Arms: Glitch in the System is a third-person shooter
?
Anyway, all of the TA-style mods use robots and GundamRTS has mechs if you want to try those...

You seem to be making a request for someone to dev a game you want to see. Probably not going to happen that way.

That's because the RTS about giant robots with detachable arms is actually called Metal Fatigue.

Not bad idea simionpadawan. But the reaction to your post will be as half-assed as your half-assed manifestation.
You need to be more plain on what you speak: What are you going to do and what do you want? What is your role? What is our role?
Use clear, whole sentences: Take a breath and think where to start and where to end. Start with a capital letter then put a period at the end of the sentence.
Whatsoever, your idea will, no doubt, perfectly suit to be implemented with the spring engine. If you show that you are serious with your undertaking and ready to work hard, you will get people, no doubt, to join for your cause.

well i tought you guys liked the idea cuz ta spring is with robots and behind all the mods is with robots so i found this game and looked in too it and the where a lot of things we could do with it there are 4 faction droids mills(bad guys) morbots(ancient race) and the zombie bots
and it compares a little with units just have to make the tanks and air units and some strucs

not all spring games are with robots

for example
http://spring1944.net
Ideas for new games are obviously needed at the start but look how much effort is put into realizing them.
You can browse the files of the "zero K" game only:
http://code.google.com/p/zero-k/source/ ... Fmods%2Fzk
Look at all the files, folders and stuff.
http://www.ohloh.net/p/Zero-K/analyses/latest
Over 200000 lines of Lua code.
Now not every game must be so complex and with so much lines of code but if you want some of the features in metal fatique (like modular robots) that will take some Lua for sure...
just have to make the tanks and air units and some strucs
Tanks and other units are not "just made", it takes quite some effort.
This video shows how a spring unit is made, animated and put ingame:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCTEUfkkxKo
And that is not even a very good or detailed looking unit, still it can easily take 1 to 3 hours.
See this video of someone doing a detailed texture:
http://vimeo.com/13465672
This can take very long as well!
Or see this thread:
http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=24689
Two guys are redoing every unit from the BA game. They started in Dec 04, 2010 and are still not done.
So all that stuff is not impossible, many others did it before and some learned it from scratch. But as you see, it takes time and more time to learn the "skills."
You could always make the game yourself though, a good start is:
http://springrts.com/wiki/The_Complete_ ... pring_Game
So I hope that shows a little why nobody has yet made the game based on your 5-line-posting

Metal Arms: Glitch In The System was a third person shooter on the last console generation, it's different from Metal Fatigue.

You pointed at MF's modular units in that last post, I don't think that's what he's looking for.
Anyway, I don't see any RTS potential in the MA:GITS game.
