crazy! but original
pwning someone on a model of ur graphics card :>
what are the evil 2's and 3's doing! it should be binary dammnit!

SWEET!
skybox of the inside of a computer would make it even cooler

Heh, that's pretty cool actually, it feels very...TRON...or something, virtual reality kinda.

Looks well done, but can it be less pink, please? Use red, blue, green, grey, yellow, but not that pastel purple all over the place.
Also, use MAP DetailTex field in the smd to change the texture that is overlayed to the map to something that looks more plasticish and less concretish.

Pwesonaly i like the pink...
Anywys, it would be nice to use the map features system to add some components wired into the circuits...

I do need to learn how to do a skybox, perhaps for this one but definatelty for my next map.

I mean to do that, if I can find one that works well.
About the colours... I did do a version with a lot of green, but trees and grass look so wrong. I could tone down the pink a bit though, was thinking of calling the pink and blue tracks "power conduits" in the terrain definition and putting a speed boost on them. The metal is in the white solder blob hills.

Ah features would add a lot to many maps, I really hope that units will be able to move over some as well as under them.

If you used mothers MapConv then you could have a green map with no grass, no trees and as many features as you could hope for. Personally I dont really like the current colour, and while I'm not saying it has to be green, the off-pink is just... bleh. Yuck. Not very appealing. Other wise nice work!

Binary is too difficult to read, it's never acctually used in marking hardware (most of the numbers are model numbers anyways, and have no relevence to computer language) Even IP adresses which are almost directly long binary strings are always either marked in hex or decimal.

COOL ...
A very good looking map ....
Looking forward to its release ...

I tried making a similar map a few weeks ago, but it was complete and utter crap. Seems like you did quite a better job than me.
Oh well, back to my monopoly map...

I like screenie #3 best of them all, very cool map. I don't think the pink is really all that bad either.

about the colour: the ground (especially on the minimap) looks EXACTLY like my old athlon xp. Those had such a curiosly tinted ceramic package.

hmm... where/how exactly did you get the texture and heightmaps for that?

It looks like a Geforce or other highend grahpics card, they are indeed oddly colored...nice map! I do agree another overlay texture would be better.
Hmmm

That kicks metric fucktonnes of ass.
Can Spring support superscalar features? That is, could you have like a giant microchip at that scale? Or are features only good for small things?
Cool concept though. I agree with others that the skybox should be changed. Just a giant skyscape of circuitry would be enough.
Perhaps it should be green.

We need the ability to animate skyboxes and add weather. Then you could do electrical sparks around in the sky and occasionally striking the chip

Well.. i was thinking you'd make giant resistor models and just make them non-colliding features, then to prevent other weirdness also amke them undestroyable and uncreclaimable, and amke atleast the points where they contact the circuit board indistrucatble terrain...

Well tests are underway... I'll have to get back to u on that.

I suggest you change the texture spring voerlays so it's shiny, afterral we dotn have microchips that look like dirt.
