How do i register an account on Spring downloader?

As the topic says. I get this box when i launch it but when i press register it says bad username/password, I've tried both blank and to fill it in.

Try a different username. The one you're trying might be taken. Yeah the error message is not very helpful.

Try use spring lobby to register.
