Spring RTS Engine

i cant get any mods to show up under the mod section i drag and click the stuff to mod folder after exstracting but nothing shows up plz help..... if someone could up load a preset up spring to play gundam rts that would be great... thanks for your help

you dont extract the sdz/sd7 files, they just get dumped straight into the mods folder.

Do you run linux or windows?

im running windows wat i have been doing is downloading spring portable and download gundam 1.21 and 1.11f and i put both in mod folder then exstracted so i have both unexsracted and exsratd and still get nothing .. thanks for your time and help guys

when you "extract" are you extracting from a zip or a sdz sd7 file? if the mods came in a zip/ rar then you should take them out, but if they are int a sd7 or sdz file then do not extract them. That is the file extension that spring will read.

This will be complicated so i'll try to break it small steps.

Gundam 1.21 does not work with Spring 0.82

By does not work I mean: "Nothing shows up" in Spring or SpringLobby.

Do you get it?

The GRTS you downloaded does not work with the Spring you downloaded.

Now, next step:

To play Gundam, you need an older Spring. For instance, Spring 0.81 instead of 0.82.

Of course, you do not know where to get an old Spring. All you can find is Spring 0.82. Spring 0.81 is nowhere to be found.

So what do we do? Weep and wait another 6 month for Smoth to make a new release? No, because we're gamers and gamers are impatient.

So I have a plan to help you!
- Remove Gundam, Uninstall Spring, etc...
- Delete everything.
- Download Gundam_RTS_1.21_Including_Spring_0.81.2.1_Installer06.exe <- this is a link, right click, save to
- Once downloaded, double click it to run it
- Click yes, next, ok, etc...
- Start Menu -> Gundam -> Single Player

Yep. Execute "java -jar TASServer.jar" and everybody (even you) should connect to "<yourhostname>:8200" via lobby.
