Big white balls

As you see in the above picture, in ctrl-b mode units show some giant white ball. On some units this is at the center of their Upspring-defined Radius, but on units that use collision volumes it appears to sit on the top face of the collision volume (which you can barely see, but it is visible in the pic).

The problem is that units will aim for this point when firing at other units which means they overshoot most of the time.

Ignore that giant black band running across the pic, no idea why but my printscreens in Spring have been showing those ugly little deformities lately.

Anyway, just figured I'd ask here what's up with this, if it's fixable and if not, can it be fixed. ^_^

Nvm, issue fixed; apparently since 3do models contain no model info (height, size, offset etc) it auto-calculates it. In the case of some units it will factor in stuff like tall antenna and masts and make the center "artificially higher" than it should be. Converted the models to S3O and set proper model attributes, so NVM.
