Spring Error

Just for testing i open up a single player game, start it with Complete Annihilation, and choose a random map.
As I load it says: "Command console A-"
and then it quits with an error:
Spring crashed
Aborted (SIGABRT)
The infolog.txt file is attached.
Notes:
1) If I use Basic Annihilation, it doesn't happen.
2) I'm using Ubuntu, 10.04, just pulling from the regular archive.ubuntu.com repo. it seems ppa:spring/ppa isn't any more up to date, and the debian repo doesn't work?
btw: I'm pleased with the progress spring has had in the last year. looks good.
