I find it nice that one can pick off jeffies and mexes with t1 fighters.

They prioritize air units over ground units so I don't know what your problem is

t1 fighters are worthwhile

its annoying that t2 fighters dont target ground tho

ok so a ground attack occurs and an air attack occurs. yes my fighters may prioritise vs air BUT they still have an attack command on a ground unit as that unit came into range first. and wont attack bombers till its dead.


i also find that while they are enroute to attack an enemy plane they will fire at ground and will often be reload as the enemy air comes into range.

I think there is be a button that toggles if they can attack ground units.

The problem with that is if you have patrolling fighters and they start attacking ground, they will break their patrol and swing around their target, leaving big holes in your fighter defense. If they just shot in passing it would be better, imo.

Whenever enemies are sending in a bomber attack I just hit P and send all my fighters to intercept

The patrol is just so that they are there ready

if you can micro the number of fighters required to cover your team on a normal sized map AND micro ground units you are impressive indeed

In xta t2 figther spam can kill a fusion ^^

in BA t2 figther spam can kill nanos, prety efective.

though t1 figthers arent that bad, you maybe forgot that 14 t1 bombers can cause a wreck in your base.

So theyr prety good countering that early bomber rush, even good versus t2 bomber rush

my point is that while they are countering that bomber rush an enemy stumpy stumbles into my base or w/e im ok with this as my com or other units capable of taking them out before significant damage occurs. BUT my fighters spot the flash first and so engages it it takes them a long time to kill a stumpy and during this the bombers OMGWTF blow my base to shreds.
now imagine this happens fast and unexpectedly (I.E the stumpy gets into my base after a explosion launches it there and i didnt scout the bombers as they came over cliff or w/e) i have no chance of stopping those bombers what so ever.
