1, I love to play on this map :

Aaron created the map Apline Way. Refer to his
release post on this forum.
What are the dark lines that run through it
Those are roads. They do not have any speed modifiers, IIRC.

I don't understand why people make nometal maps - it's pretty trivial to remove the metal from a map with a mutator (or disabling extractors, or using the metalmult slider if your mod has one).... and nearly impossible to add metal to a metal-less map.
