Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series

So I had 10.4 and everything was golden. Then i updated to 10.5 and all 3dos got screwy blah blah I'm sure you've read that thread. So i tried going with the software that was linked to me and that turned out to be some kind of "Install Manager/Lord of the Rings online trial". So i uninstalled all related ATI stuff and installed: Option 1.

So if anyone has recommendations or good links to a working driver, or whatever i need to get back in business, i would genuinely appreciate it.

If 10.4 works, reinstall that.

A bit of an update:

I updated to 10.6 because i could not find 10.4.

Well if anyone has the actual 10.4 driver for my card still feel free to link me. I can't find it.

If you visit the ATI web site and select to download a driver, at the bottom of the page is a link to "previous drivers". Still cannot find it, try guru3d.com

Zerver, first of all, thanks for actually replying to my help and bugs thread. Bad news is i can't find the previous drivers button or link you are referring to. And the other site, like a few others i've visited, seem to have downloads for CCC but not the actual driver. So I guess i'll just have to get really familiar 3do model shapes and start playing more games with s3o's.

Okay, they only have this "previous drivers" link for desktop gfx.

However, the ATI web search works. Type in "3400 HD 10.4" and you get:

Aw man, there's no download link. I think i'm out of luck.

I went there and this http://downloads.guru3d.com/downloadget ... 546095f68d was all I found. It did not have an actual display driver in the package. It did how ever have a free trial for LotRo... *grumble grumble*

And if you just get the regular one, will it fail to install or what?
