Spring Lobby won't load BA

So, everything was working perfectly earlier this morning, but now when I try to run Balanced Annihilation a window comes up which says: "Spring 0.82.1" and then closes. No loading screens, I tried reinstalling the packages from Synaptic Package manager but that didn't work, any suggestions? I'm running: Lubuntu 10.04 with Nvidia graphics drivers working just fine( I can play others games).
