Spring RTS Engine

Hello,

When i play spring, i think i have fps problems.
map: speedmetal

In the begin, i have 400+.
When i have alot of nuno's + techplants and stuff, it goes to 100+-
When i fire 50nukes at a point, it drops to 10fps?

Pc specs:
e8400 @ 3.6Ghz
8800GT
2GB RAm.
Reso: 1024
Settings: Verylow & low.

My question is, is this normal, or am i doing something wrong?

ALSO, while i am here.
How will a p4 3.0Ghz 1.5Gb ram, X300 ATI(Iknow), perform?

Speedmetal you say? 10 FPS when firing 50 nukes? Consider that most people drop below 5 FPS when playing hardcore speedmetal. It's normal on metal maps to have low FPS when over 9000 units are active on the map...

If you want high FPS on speed metal, you need ATI graphics (or some $$$ high-end nvidia) and a Core I7...

You should install the multithreaded executable too, and run it without any widgets for max FPS.
