Unable to launch spring-Plz help

I have compiled spring_0.81.2.1 from source.
1. Compilation and installation was successful on my Fedora11 desktop.
2. downloaded mods and maps and installed in ~/.spring/XXX directories.
when I start spring, it does not simply start and below is the output:
Any help in this, is really appreciated.
