not sure if it should be here or in the linux section


spring crashes before the window opens.

single player and multiplayer. only multiplayer gives me an infolog however

on ubuntu 10.04
tried the re-install (even re-installed ubuntu twice)
graphics drivers are upto date

a GFX crash. maybe latest version of drivers are buggy for your card. the crash happens pretty early, so it looks like pretty badly bugged.
maybe post your GFX card details and driver version.
and.. i hope you did not reinstall ubuntu twice because of this bug!

i have no life and nothing important to use this pc for and ubuntu is very buggy and lame currently so i dont mind re-installing at all.

have ATI 4670 and the latest ati drives for it: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/l ... ng=English

you should try the version of the drivers that were latest when your card was new.
