You should hide the menu when recording. And probably use a higher resolution, I can't see much.

I can't even record despite my wonderful software and hardware. It just goes to 1-5 FPS whenever I hit record...

Well, I dunno if there is a size limit on YT, but hell, this 3 minute video scored 45Mb being in crappy 800x600... I could do a bigger one, but, frankly speaking, its YT that eats the majority of the quality. 800x600 looks at least decent, as long as it is on your hardware... i could put it on some speed share, but I doubt you would give a shit then...
EDIT
Okay, as soon as YT processed it properly, its gone pretty bearable. Try it now, I bet you'll see more that a couple hours ago.

i once did almost the same thing, except with a team of like 5 gremlins, but our south was totally lost and we ended up losing anyway
